oatmeal cookie recipe

I got this recipe somewhere online... i didn't invent it. :p

note to self: cookies too sweet. tone down on suger. makes DEFINETELY more than 18 cookies...

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar ---> even just half
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 T vanilla extract
2 1/2 cup rolled oats ---> 1 250g pack oats
2 cups all purpose flour (cake flour)
1/2 t salt
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
12 oz semi sweet chocolate ---> depends on the people...
1 cup chopped walnuts ---> bake for 2 min only!

Procedure:
1. preheat oven to 180C. grease cookie sheets
2. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla till fluffy
3. blend oatmeal if you think they are too big (size should be around 0.5cm)
4. in a separate bowl, blend flour, salk, baking powder, baking soda and oatmeal.
5. stir in butter mixture, mix well
6. add chocolate and walnuts
7. shape and bake

bake: 8-10 min per batch

warning: the doughs grow at least twice its size after baking.

Earlier today, intrigged by a friend's status msg (what does VST & Co.'s VST mean), I decided to do a little research. Just as I discovered that it stands for Visual Studio Technology, my friend told me it's the name of a Pinoy Rock band. Wee, wrong answer. So, i researched again. Amazingly, I actually found out what it means! The power of internet. Praise the net!

so, what does this have to do with X japan?

Anyway, awhile ago, i saw someone requesting for the Jap version lyrics of a V2 song. Hm... i decided to try my luck again with the net. Thanks to my linguistic abilities, I used both yahoo taiwan and yahoo japan to research. And again, the power to internet prevails. I found the lyrics in a japanese forum. anyway, that's the lyrics part. On my tw.yahoo browser, i got lots of X japan fan sites.

so I clicked.

because i miss my baby yoshiki so much.

and i crashed.

why? coz X japan is full of tragedies.

Seriously. the articles written by Oshima Akemi san for Shoxxx after X Japan disbanded totally reminded me how much pain Yoshiki experienced after Toshi left the band, announcing the disbanding, and finally, the death of Hide.

I'm sure this is not it all. I'm not a very fanatic fan, but even reading the interviews and watching the clips, I can feel the pain dragging me into the abyss.

X japan lives forever in the hearts of the fans.

I need to recollect myself

The afternoon prayer sessions of my Th151 class have really had me taken a closer examination at my own faith. Nevertheless, I realized that the more attention I'm giving myself, the more at lost I am. The more unease I am with myself. The jittering within. So annoying!

I really dont like these days. I mean, well, good thing's been happening, but so are the bad ones. I want to just laugh them away on my own stupidity (does this sentense even make sense?) But honestly, I dont think i can. Events will always leave a mark, shallow or deep. Doesn't matter! A mark is a mark, and it will come back and haunt you till the day you die. grrr.

My biggest sin is sloth. Mehn, im so fucking pissed with myself for how lazy i am. Grades are showing that I'm not doing good. I always sleep in class. Fuck that insomnia. sleeping at 4am everyday isn't good when ur class is just 3hours away (oh, yes, dont i just love 730 classes?)
